I’ve just returned from a fabulous two-week trip to Doha, Qatar, with the Ulysses Owens Jr. Quintet. This has been, without a doubt, one of the highlights of my career: every night, each member of the band kept things fresh and alive, and pushed me to my limits musically. It was a privilege for me to have this experience, and I’m happy to say there will be more in the future with this great band.

I am also looking forward to recording my very first album in the beginning of May. This has been a long coming event, and it has been ruminating in my mind ever since I came to New York. Very excited to share the results, and my compositions.
